Before joining Gallup in 2022, Benedict worked as a senior researcher for BBC News and the BBC World Service. Benedict has a master's degree in architecture and urban studies from the University of Cambridge, where his academic research centred on the politics of urban regeneration in the context of major global sporting events. He has a bachelor's degree in geography from King's College London and is based in London.
