Akey Hirano

With a proven track record over many years at director and general manager level, Akey Hirano has wide experience in leadership of diverse teams. Being the head of various Japanese subsidiary companies of international media corporations Akey is proactive and has excellent skills in business, communication and presentation. A diplomatic negotiation style, along with good listening skills and the ability to quickly recognize key issues and has consistently produced exceptional team results.

After retiring Representative Director of Grass Valley K.K., he enjoys self-employed business as a consultant.

He is happy to work wherever he is needed.

Recently (March 2012) he was contracted temporarily as a facilitator/translator of a Japanese company that starts business with south east Asian companies. His support was highly appreciated and received repeat order.

He supported company launch in Singapore and deeply involved in the project and assumed a director position at the company launch. The company name is "Crystal Road Pte. Ltd".

He was employed as a part time teacher at Chuo College of Technology. He teaches "Marketing" to foreign students every Monday. It's not a class just reading book, listening lecture. Students are encouraged to actively participate in a brain storming and a group discussion.

He published a book called "Omowareryoku" which is about the ability to establish yourself in the forefront of others’ minds in March 2020. He has been promoting the training seminar based on this book.
