Janae Moss is the mother of seven, grandmother of four, co-owner of multiple businesses, family advocate, and community organizer. She is the co-founder Humans Driving Change, which encourages parents to use their innate ability to lead, by sharing their experiences with the organizations that support them. She and her husband, Jon, have built several businesses, including their flagship RBM Building Maintenance. She has a BA in Integrated Studies, with an emphasis in Psychology and Leadership, and is earning a Master’s in Performance Psychology.
Alongside the success of RBM and its six sister companies, Janae is a passionate social entrepreneur, trained in performance psychology, because she believes all organizations are based on the people that make it great. In every business and non-profit endeavor, she invests in communities and helps develop the strengths in people and families. Future plans include multiple projects that encourage listening to and trusting oneself.
Public service has been a pillar of Janae’s life for decades. She currently serves as the chair of the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce and helps lead the Utah State Strengthening Families-Protective Factors Framework initiatives. She is the Parent Champion for Help Me Grow Utah and worked to build the state’s 211 community info hotline.
Other public service includes membership in the Nellesen Center for Autism advisory board and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean’s Advisory board, for Utah Valley University. She is also on the Provo School District Diversity and Equity Council and recently ended her service as board chair for the Utah County chapter of United Way.
Janae has also served on the Younique Education committee, the UVU Utah Women Leadership Project, and as the co-chair of the Alliance National Parent Partnership Council (Children’s Trust Funds) and the Birth Parent National Network.
Janae has been sharing information online for over a decade and enjoys using her expertise in social media as another means of spreading messages of empowerment to parents.
