Dr. Jennifer Selke is a UC Berkeley-trained psychologist and strengths expert helping teams and individuals maximize their strengths to reach a goal, solve a problem, get direction, and have a fulfilled life. Since 2018 she has taught Clifton Strengths and Posttraumatic Growth to military veterans at Camp Southern Ground, a non-profit founded by Zac Brown of the Zac Borwn band in Fayetteville, GA.
Since 2003, Jennifer has used Gallup’s strengths-based management model to successfully manage large summer day camp programs at the University of California at Berkeley, employing approximately 150 high school and college students each summer. Her on-the-ground experience putting strengths-based management into practice for over 20 years gives her a unique perspective on how organizations can take strengths beyond their one-day workshop. In 2011, Jennifer joined forces with Betsy Flanagan to found their company WorkStrengths.
Dr. Selke specializes in experiential and brain-based training and managing diverse workforces that include multi-generational and neurodivergent individuals. She also created and led an inclusion job skills program that provides workplace coaching for teens and adults with Asperger Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities. Dr. Selke was on the faculty in the School of Education at U.C. Berkeley for thirteen years and has been a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach for ten years. In April 2019, she moved with her husband, Brian, from the San Francisco Bay Area to Fayetteville, GA.
