Assisting you in your career exploration process or working with your organization to strengthen your mission is my passion. Career counseling including critiquing cover letters & resumes, administering and interpreting assessments, assisting in the job search process and in job preparation (dress for success, mock interviews, networking, use of social media, etc.) are several of the services that I offer. I am certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator; certified in administering and interpreting the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Strong & iStartStrong; and a Strengths Finder Instructor and Strengths Certified Coach.
Originally I am from Chebeague Island, Maine and began working for the University of Southern Maine in 2003. I spent twelve years outside the State of Maine attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where I received an Associate’s Degree in 1995, then I traveled to San Francisco and obtained a Bachelor's in Psychology from San Francisco State University in 2001, at which point I moved back to Maine and completed my Master's of School Counseling from USM in 2005 and a PhD in Public Policy with a Concentration in Educational Leadership in 2015.
