Dr. Julie Lockman is the Assistant Vice President for Graduate Education at West Virginia University Health Sciences Center and a faculty member in the West Virginia University School of Medicine. She is formally trained as a mentor and mentor trainer through the National Research Mentoring Network and in career coaching through the Institute for Clinical Research Education where she earned a Certificate in Research Leadership through the Professional Mentoring Skills Enhancing Diversity (PROMISED) fellowship.
As a Strengths Coach, I work with graduate students and faculty in the science and healthcare professions to develop and apply their strengths to maximize their satisfaction and effectiveness in their career and other domains of their life. I also work with academic leadership teams on strengths-based approaches.
