She is an innovative, forward-thinking, strategic leader who has conquered numerous personal and professional barriers to become a respected leader in the field of diversity and inclusion and strengths-based leadership. Miranda brings an ability to understand the needs and challenges of diverse clients. She has successfully led workshops, coaching programs, and managed strategic diversity programs from ideation to implementation for global organizations.
As a first generation professional, Miranda conquered several challenges to become the first in her family to earn a college degree and work in a corporate environment. Since childhood she had a fear of public speaking. CliftonStrengths was the key to claiming her talents and overcoming public speaking anxiety. Miranda became a certified coach in 2018 and has since become a motivational speaker, coached more than 300 individuals and hosted more than 30 team building workshops. Leveraging her DEI experience, she cultivates a safe, inclusive, and open environment for participants to share in healthy group discussion. She guides her clients through shared and unique experiences and stories of breakthroughs to help them discover and grow their talents to strengths.
Miranda is passionate about giving back and sowing into the future generations and actively contributing to society. She is an active volunteer and mentors’ youth through her organization – Black Girls Love History. She runs StrengthsFinder® programs for teen parents and youths-at-risk.
Miranda is the chairperson of the Hampton Roads regional chapter of the National Industry Liaison Group. She brings over 12 years of experience in performance development and strategic leadership. In her pastime, Miranda is an artist who loves to paint and design home décor.
