Adrian is a Certified Fundraising Executive who helps organizations pursue their mission by strategically leveraging data and technology to raise more money. As the AVP for Advancement Services at the LSU Foundation, Adrian has helped to build the operations that led LSU to successfully launch their record setting $1.5B campaign, which is more than half-way to completion and a year ahead of schedule. She has considerable experience driving operational excellence through past roles in IT, prospect and pipeline development, analytics, and donor relations. Adrian became an analyst through a non-traditional path- she developed her data analysis and dashboarding skills as a world-ranked player on the bleeding edge of World of Warcraft. Gaming has taught her critical technical and leadership skills she uses to this day.
Adrian is a frequent speaker at conferences and workshops across the country on the topics of team building, leadership, change management, data analysis, and fundraising. She is also the principal leadership consultant for Lady Jones Consulting.
As a volunteer, Adrian serves on the Board of the Junior League of Baton Rouge as the Long-Range Planning Chair and is currently executing the development of their new strategic plan. She serves as a Boys & Girls Club of Baton Rouge Club Blue Ambassador, e-Mentor, and was recognized as a 2020 Great Futures Gala honoree. Adrian is also a member of the 2020 cohort of New Schools for Baton Rouge CHANGEMAKERS, a program dedicated to empowering community leaders to be effective advocates for K-12 education. She was also honored as one of Baton Rouge Business Report’s 40 Under 40 for 2020. She is an active member of her professional development organization, Apra, serving as the former Editor of Apra’s Connections Magazine, and as chair of the campaign committee. Apra is the premier organization for professionals within the areas of research and data science working in the field of philanthropy.
Adrian is a lifelong learner. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts at LSU with a focus on Leadership and Emerging Technology. She is a Gallup certified Strengths Coach and loves to use StrengthsFinder to help teams develop their talent. Adrian has a bachelor’s in Liberal Arts from Oklahoma State University.
