Darren Jones

Darren Jones, EdD, BCC (he/him) is a certified coach with an extensive background in higher education, leadership development, coaching, and mentoring. He has partnered with organizations ranging from colleges to hyper-growth tech startups and with individuals ranging from college students to C-suite execs. He has worked with clients at Richmond Community Foundation, ServiceNow, Miro, Modern Health, AirBnB, Lyft, Uber, Intuit, Chenier Energy, VMWare, Colorado College, CSU Fullerton, Morehouse College, and Mary Baldwin University.  Darren’s professional training comes from Gallup as a Certified Strengths Coach, the College of Executive Coaching, the Positive Intelligence Coach Training Program, and the Co-Active Training Institute. He is credentialed through the Center for Credentialing & Education as a Board-Certified Coach and the International Association of Coaching as a Masteries Practitioner. 

As a coach, Darren seeks to empower the coaching relationship by holding each client naturally, creative, resourceful, and whole so that each person can achieve the growth, development, and transformation they are seeking. He serves as a partner, creating space for self-discovery and exploration while increasing awareness of possibilities. Darren currently resides in Atlanta, GA. He earned his bachelor’s from The University of Virginia, master’s from The George Washington University, and doctorate from The University of Georgia. Outside of coaching, Darren loves to play video games, dance, and loves watching reality tv.
