Through Karman Briggs' experience in successfully leading an SBA-funded, non-profit Women's Business Center, she spent 15 years assisting women and other historically underserved populations achieve economic self sufficiency through entrepreneurship. Specific skills include feasibility studies, business plan development, budgeting, financial projections, management, and leadership. Having met with hundreds of entrepreneurs, sole-proprietors and established business owners through the years, Karman strives to provide pragmatic, respectful, and informed guidance as she coaches individuals to identify attainable goals and take calcuated risks.
A lifelong resident of Wisconsin, Karman grew up in her family's small, independent bookstore and continues a love for reading and learning. Karman has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with certificates in Web Development & Design, Financial Accounting, Supervisory Management and Non-Profit Leadership. Karman is also a certified GrowthWheel Advisor and a StoryBrand Facilitator.
