Walt Disney said, "All of our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Since I can remember, even as a little girl, I have relentlessly pursued excellence by designing, imagining, building, creating, improving, inspiring, and leading. So, it made complete sense to me when I first learned my Clifton Strengths talent themes, that my dominant themes are Maximizer, Achiever, Input, Individualization, Command, Learner, Significance, Focus, Competition, Self-Assurance, Ideation, Futuristic.
Professionally, I am a talent management expert and I have led and transformed teams at some of the world’s most successful companies and now work as an external guide and advisor in this same work. I engage my strengths by architecting and implementing programs across every aspect of the talent lifecycle, from attracting and hiring top talent, to developing and retaining high-performers, to engaging and inspiring them to achieve their full potential and engage with the organization. I am also on faculty with the University of Denver, teaching talent management and organizational design in the Masters of HR graduate program.
I believe that when an organization leads from a place of its strengths and when their talent programs align with their vision and values, their organization's performance increases.
