Jolie Thompson

Hi, I'm Jolie Thompson, founder and principal coach at Hire Aptitude. I began my career supporting leaders, managers, and teams with Human Resource Management and personnel strategy. Over the years, my responsibilities have included workforce planning, recruitment and staffing, team building, performance management, training and development, employee engagement, organizational development, and corporate communications. I've developed and managed a large portfolio of programs designed to support employees’ growth and development and to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.   

A lifelong learner, I became interested in coaching as a way to more meaningfully support the growth and development of employees by helping them to identify individual strategies for success. My approach to coaching is results oriented, strengths based, practical, and always aimed at supporting my clients to achieve their maximum potential. A key component of my coaching philosophy is to help clients become more self-aware and to identify and leverage their strengths as a pathway to success. This is what motivated me to become a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.
