As a young career professional, Amanda specializes in working with students and faculty/staff in a variety of education settings to forge their own path into the future using their strengths. She believes that by finding learning about strengths early, individuals can develop a strong sense of identity and make more informed decisions about college, career, and life. Leaning on her Individualization theme, Amanda has a special connection to coaching first-generation students on navigating the college and career process.
With 5+ years experience in pre-college programs, first-year college student programs, career development, and student advising, Amanda is equipped with to have meaningful conversations with clients to develop their goals and think through ways to incorporate strengths into their everyday life. By utilizing her Learner and Input strengths, Amanda is continually staying up to date with the newest research and resources in the CliftonStrengths realm.
Amanda herself is a first-generation college student, and holds a B.S. in Family & Consumer Science and Interpersonal & Organizational Communication from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and a M.S. in College Student Personnel, Student Affairs from Western Illinois University.
