MICHAEL KNOX

Hello and thank you for taking a look at my coaching profile! 

I am a passionate developer of human potential with 13 years of experience in individual coaching, curriculum development, and instruction on a range of topics. I have primarily worked in higher education but also have experience teaching and training in the corporate space. I know that everyone has genius within them, though they often don't recognize it themselves, and I love helping people unlock that genius. This aligns quite well with Strengths coaching, which is predicated on the idea that everyone has tremendous power if they tap into the things that are uniquely strong within them.  

I have a B.A. in Psychology & Social Behavior that I earned from UC Irvine and a Masters in Higher Education & Organizational Change from UCLA. In addition to being a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, I have significant experience in training on issues related to diversity & inclusion, healthy masculinity, team cohesion & effectiveness, racial justice allyship, mentorship, and leadership. 

I have a knack for helping people to understand themselves and others better, finding new ways to approach persistent problems, and identifying creative pathways forward during challenging moments in the lives of people and organizations.
