Key Workplace Trends in the UAE: Turning "Quiet Quitters" into Engaged Employees
According to Gallup’s recently published report Key Workplace Trends in the UAE, the percentage of UAE employees who are engaged increased from 19% in 2019 to 30% in 2022. However, the study also revealed that 62% of UAE employees are not-engaged “quiet quitters” – employees who tend to fulfil basic job requirements but little more. Gallup estimates that workplace disengagement costs the UAE economy between $8.6 and $10.3 billion annually due to lost productivity. So how can UAE business leaders build on the gains they have made in engaging their workforces to convert more disengaged “quiet quitters” into motivated, productive engaged employees?
