Strengths Development & Coaching
Are you maximizing the potential of each employee?
Create a learning strategy where people can continually develop their strengths through personalized insights, online learning and coaching.
Get the most out of this effort by teaching managers how to have strengths-based developmental conversations.
To improve performance, develop your people based on their strengths -- not their weaknesses.
Traditional workplace development focuses on finding and fixing people's weaknesses.
The result? A negative employee experience, mediocre performance improvements and employees who are less engaged.
Instead, developing people's strengths helps them become more confident, productive and self-aware.
And leads to:
7% to 23%
higher employee engagement
8% to 18%
increase in performance
20% to 73%
lower attrition
Strengths development sets the groundwork for a positive company culture.
What is at the core of your company culture?
When you put strengths at the core, you create a culture that focuses on the continual growth, improvement and understanding of everyone in the organization.
People collaborate better -- and teams experience 17% higher productivity and 21% higher profitability.
With a strengths-based learning strategy, you can:
- provide individualized learning opportunities for employees
- train your leaders and managers to have strength-based performance conversations
- give leaders, managers and employees one-on-one coaching sessions
- create professional coaches within your organization
Where does strengths learning start?
1. Have employees discover their CliftonStrengths.
The simple, hour-long online assessment measures people's natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving.
When they are done, they'll discover their talents and get an individualized description of their 34 CliftonStrengths themes.
2. Get personalized insights and learning resources.
CliftonStrengths reports include insights about how people's talents appear in real life. You'll discover the perfect ways to explain and understand employees' talents.
Through our learning platform, employees can participate in e-learning modules, watch videos and find content about how to apply their talents every day.
3. Provide one-on-one coaching and manager feedback.
Help employees aim their talents at anything that comes their way.
Organizations can help employees develop their strengths by providing one-on-one coaching and training managers to have feedback conversations based on strengths.
Train people to be coaches within your organization.
