Americans Convinced Rise in Gas Prices Is Permanent

Over three-quarters of Americans, 78%, are now convinced that the current rise in gas prices represents a permanent rather than a temporary change in prices, the highest such reading since Gallup began asking about gas prices using this question eight years ago.
